New Year, New Opportunities

As the school year kicks off, it’s a perfect time to set New School Year Resolutions! At NISOD, we’re here to support you in your professional growth with resources that empower you to accomplish your goals.

Here are three resolutions that can help you enhance your work this year—and how NISOD can support you in achieving them:

1. Attend Professional Development Events

Stay ahead of the curve by expanding your knowledge and skills. Whether you want to explore new teaching strategies or dive into the latest research, our Webinars and Virtual Workshops are perfect for ongoing professional development. We’ve got a lineup of topics ready to inspire and challenge you throughout the year.

2. Grow Your Network Beyond Campus

Learning isn’t just about content; it’s about connections. Our Virtual Conference and Annual Face-to-Face Conference offer opportunities to engage with educators from across the country. By joining these events, you’ll have the chance to exchange ideas, collaborate on best practices, and gain fresh perspectives.

3. Share Your Expertise

You have knowledge and insights that can benefit others. Why not share them? Submit a proposal to present at one of our conferences. Tomorrow is the deadline to submit a proposal for this year's Virtual Conference. Whether you’re spotlighting innovative practices in your classroom or leading discussions on student engagement, you can contribute to our community of educators and grow as a thought leader.

Commit to Your Goals

As you look forward to the academic year ahead, we invite you to make the most of NISOD’s resources to help you meet your New School Year Resolutions. Plus, we’re offering shareable graphics so you can inspire your colleagues to set their own resolutions. Download them here and let your network know what you’re committing to this year! Tag us on Facebook, LinkedIn, X, or Instagram to share with us, too.

Here’s to a successful year filled with learning, connecting, and sharing!
