The phrase “it came to pass” appears more than 450 times in the Bible. So why do we humans dislike and avoid change?
When changes happen, whether expected or not, and whether our conscious choice or not, we can experience fear, anger, grief and feelings of loss. Do we allow ourselves to “feel what we feel,” or cover them with “toxic positivity” and “spiritual bypass”?
Join Rev. Dr. Jerry Troyer for a mind and heart opening workshop on the inevitable experience of change, recognizing that we are always “chopping wood, carrying water.”
Rev. Dr. Jerry Troyer is Board President of the Affiliated New Thought Network (ANTN), of which CCL is a member. He has been an ordained Religious Science minister since 2009, and is a published author. Jerry lives in the San Diego area with his Golden Retriever, “Maggie.”
This workshop will be held in a private home, and when you register, CCL will send you an email with the location address. You may also attend via Zoom and will get that link when you register.

July 4th Parade - Let Freedom Ring!
Help celebrate birthday # 249
of our precious DEMOCRACY.
A Kindness Coalition, well represented by members of the Center for Conscious Living, has participated in the Moorestown 4th of July Parade each year of the past ten or so, save for the pandemic. Join us as we participate once again!!
Sign up on the back table on Sunday, or by notifying either Holly Myers or the CCL office.
We'll gather at our favorite front porch, at 52 East Central Avenue by 11:15 AM. distribute our Kindness oriented placards, and then assemble at Central and Chester Avenues by 11:30 AM.
Once we arrive at the assembly area we are to check in with any red-shirted committee member, who will place us in the proper location in the parade line up. We will remain in that location so that our group can move once the parade has started. Please park your vehicle as far from the assembly area as possible.
The horses and ponies of Majoda Stables will be back with our coalition once again! Horses are a symbol of Freedom, and they are our perfect companions to celebrate our country’s 249th Independence Day!
Sandy Schussel's red car will be decorated and available for a couple of riders. Maybe you'd like to decorate YOUR car and drive in the parade too!
The parade proceeds from Central and Chester Aves, up Chester's Quiet Zone to Main Street and across to Church Street. It will end at Church St. (not the 'green' across from the municipal complex).
Bring your hat, water, comfortable walking shoes and enthusiasm. The dress code? Red, white and blue!!
There will be a portable 'rest room' at 54 East Central Ave. at the front sidewalk. The parade will end at Church Street.

CCL is partnering with Solar Landscape, the largest community solar supplier in New Jersey. When you sign up, CCL will receive a donation on your behalf.
