STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK RECAP

We are beyond grateful for our amazing Butler teachers and staff every day! They are the heart of our school, and we truly have the absolute best.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to our parents who donated items or contributions to help make Teacher Appreciation week so special, and those that helped set up, clean up, and supported behind the scenes to bring it all together.

SPRING BOOK FAIR VOLUNTEERS NEEDED | MAY 11 TO 14

Spring Book Fair

May 11th-14th

The Spring Book Fair is right around the corner!

It will run Monday, May 11th - Thursday, May 14th.

We need volunteers to help run the fair!

Volunteers help students find books and calculate costs (+tax) to keep things running smoothly at the registers. Slots are 1-1.5 hrs. Click here to sign up.

Signing up for multiple time slots is welcomed and encouraged =)

See when your child’s class is scheduled to attend the Book Fair: Spring 2026 Book Fair - Teacher Time Slots. Schedule changes are unlikely, but possible.

If you have any questions, please contact Juliana Lodge.

SET UP BOOK FAIR eWALLET

The Book Fair will run from May 11 to May 14.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that all books will be available for the whole fair. Book Fair purchases can be made with cash, credit card (must be the credit card itself, not only the numbers – parent signature required for transaction), checks made payable to Butler PTO, or eWallet.

Sign up now for eWallet here!! REMEMBER - eWallet is now like a gift card and all funds stay on the eWallet and can be used at the next fair or at the online book fair.  Each student needs their own eWallet account.

If you would prefer to shop at home with your child, or the book your child wants is out of stock, you can shop at our online book fair, running from May 8 to May 21 here.

If you have any questions, please contact Juliana Lodge.

TEACHER FAVORITE THINGS LIST UPDATED

Parents are often interested in knowing what teachers and staff members like or enjoy. View an updated list here of our staff members favorite things. This is a good reference for gifts as well as every day little surprises!

This list includes teachers, administrators, custodial staff, support staff, specialists and itinerants. This is completely voluntary and will remain open all year if you are looking for the inside scoop.

CONTRIBUTE TO HELP SUPPORT PTO PROGRAMS & EVENTS

PTO events and activities would not be available without our volunteers and the financial contribution by the Butler families. In support of our efforts, we are asking for a $15 contribution per household (Butler Family) as the means to offset the expenses for organizing and holding the events.

For those who wish, you can sponsor another Butler family’s $15 contribution. Payment is preferred through MyPaymentsPlus or submit a check with this form.

FIRST AND SECOND GRADE LUNCH VOLUNTEERS

Please sign up to volunteer during 1st Grade lunch here.

Please sign up to volunteer during 2nd Grade lunch here.

**Please note: You must have your volunteer clearances completed prior to signing up for lunch duty. All volunteer opportunities are subject to change based on District guidelines. We ask that you please refrain from cell phone usage during your volunteer shift. Unfortunately, younger siblings are no longer permitted to accompany volunteers.

MY PAYMENTS PLUS VS. MY SCHOOL BUCKS
My Payments Plus
My Payments Plus is a free, secured, online account which allows you to pay for student fees, field trips, PTO events, summer classes, etc. This is used district-wide, so we encourage all families to register for an account. To sign up, simply visit: MyPaymentsPlus.com and click on “Register a Free Account.” You will need your child's student identification number to set up the account, which can be found in the parent portal.
My School Bucks
My School Bucks is a free, secured online account which allows you to pay for school meals. It allows you to have a digital option for lunches (no cards – the cafeteria staff look up the child’s name at the register) as well as see what items your child is purchasing in the cafeteria. To access My School Bucks, please visit MySchoolBucks.com. You will need your child's student identification number to set up the account, which can be found in the parent portal.
