Holy Cow Farm
Cockscomb Arrives!
"Hey what are those brain coral flowers!?" Jenn and Bryan love it when customers first see their Cockscomb Celosia and can't believe that a flower can feel like felt and look like an underwater creature. This hearty variety of Celosia looks great in an arrangement or on its own, and because it's so long lasting it also makes for a great dried flower. Holy Cow will be bringing lots of these to market this Saturday, so be sure to stop by and check it out.

Primordia Mushroom Farm - Mushroom Musings with Jesse
Hi folks,

Much to our delight, the mushrooms are growing and growing! Plentiful! Exuberant! Most years August is a time when we are constantly fighting an uphill battle against heat and contamination in our barns. There are still little bits of that to deal with, to be sure, but thanks to all the hard work in upgrading our infrastructure that Matthew has put in over this past year, we are still harvesting plenty of mushrooms to meet your need!

This week we will still have plenty of grilling shiitake, pioppino, and lion's mane, and we should also have plenty of chanterelles.

As per usual, orders are not required, but feel free to place an order at our website if that is your preference: www.primordiafarm.com We will have plenty of product at market for you to purchase on site.
