On Census Day: Everyone Counts!

During these challenging times, your voice is more critical than ever to ensure we fulfill our commitment to count every single person in California for the 2020 Census - our state's future depends on it. Fortunately, it has never been easier and more accessible to respond to the census on your own -- online, over the phone, or by mail!

This Wednesday, April 1st, take action to ensure that everyone gets counted on the 2020 Census and vital federal funds are secured for the next decade!
3 EASY ACTIONS TO PROMOTE THE CENSUS:
1. EMAIL BLAST:  Use this language to send an email or newsletter  to your employees and customers. Let them know it is safe and easy to complete the census, all answers are confidential, and citizenship status won't be asked.
2. SOCIAL MEDIA:  Share our short video   (featuring real business owner voices) and   sample census posts   on all your social media platforms! Don't forget to add the hashtags #2020Census and #BeCounted
3. REMINDERS:  Many of us are leading remote work at this time. Make sure to include reminders to complete the census in all you virtual team meetings! Refer to sample talking points in light of COVID-19. Also check out these posts on Facebook   and   Twitter !
