Census Resources for Distance Learning
Education partners are critical to helping the U.S. Census Bureau reach hard-to-count Californians. Historically, children have been an undercounted population in our state. To make sure every child is counted, we must involve parents, teachers, and administrators.

Visit the Census Office's education resources page to access resources for educators, students, and families. Please share and use these materials to engage your communities!

Looking for something that works in a distance learning environment?

Carla Truttman, a teacher on special assignment at Yreka High School in Siskiyou County, created census lessons designed for remote learning, including both digital and paper options for students and teachers. The materials are available for grades PK-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
