The serving team invites you to help a local school, Dogwood Middle School (formerly Binford https://dms.rvaschools.net/). We would like to gather teacher appreciation items for the month of September. Recommended items are: Pencils (Ticonderoga is the best), Flair pens, Bookmarks, Sharpies, Command strips/hooks, hand lotion, Hand sanitizer, Expo markers, Magnets (strong!), post its. We’ll have collection bins outside the sanctuary for dropping these off. If you have any questions, please contact the church office.

October - Litter Clean Up

The Serving team, in coordination with the Richmond Clean City Commission, invites you to a Litter pick up on the blocks around the church on Saturday, October 12 from 10:00am to noon. Please register your attendance with the church office. If the group participating would like to break bread following the event; that could be fun, too!

September 22 Luncheon

THIS SUNDAY

Please join us in the Fellowship Hall

to celebrate the start of the

Centenary UMC Oral History Project.

What is an oral history? An oral history is a recorded and transcribed account of personal experiences, stories, and reflections of individuals who share a common bond. It captures first-hand testimony, providing a unique personal perspective on history that might not be found in traditional written records. These narratives are invaluable for preserving the voices of those who may be overlooked by conventional historical documentation.
