Sunday School Updates

May the grace and peace of Christ be with you and your family!

I am writing this letter to share February Sunday School updates.

1. February Sunday School curriculum: "God Loves You!"

February is a great month to talk about love as we celebrate Valentine's Day and Black History Month. So this month, we will use the new four-week Sunday School Curriculum, "God Loves You!" We will invite our Sunday School students to learn and explore God's immeasurable love for the world!

2. Twice a month Sunday School (2nd and 4th Sundays)

I would like to remind you this Sunday; we invite children and youth to worship with the Centenary church family. (During the service, we will provide Children's messages and activity sheets). Our next Sunday school will take place on February 12.

3. Valentine's Day Family Event on February 12 at Room 20

We invite your family to join us for a very special Valentine's family event - Valentine's Heart Cookie Decorating Event on February 12! Please sign up for you and your family for this event! (A sign-up sheet is available in Narthex) If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Grace or me.

Many Blessings,

Your pastor, Sooah

Sandwich Thursday

Sandwich Thursday is coming up!

February 9 (Thursday) at 6:30 pm (Room 20)

If you are interested in supporting and joining in this mission of Jesus, please get in touch with our mission committee chair, Bob Carlson or Pastor Sooah.

Once A Month Prayer Group

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your mind in Christ Jesus.

-Philippians 4: 6-7-

Prayer with and for one another is one of the great gifts of our faith.

As you navigate life's stressors, struggles, and challenges, we want to support each other in prayer. We gather first Tuesday of every month and our next meeting will be February 7th at 7 pm.

If you are interested in joining this group, please let pastor Sooah know. (pastorsooah@gmail.com)
