The Centennial Lakes Annual Fall Festival will be back on Sunday, October 25th, 2:00-5:00 pm! This year, expect a DJ, cakewalk, vendors, games, face painting, and of course, the chili cookoff! Yummy's Funnel Cakes will be there with sweet treats for purchase.
Vendor space is FREE! All you have to do is bring a table and provide a game with prizes for the kids to play. You do not need to live in our neighborhood so please help spread the word! Email chiquitastanton@gmail.com with your information and business.

| | Development at Former Sonic Location on Baker Rd. | | Redevelopment has begun on the site of the former Sonic in the Publix shopping center on Baker Rd. Plans for a gas station (yes, another one!) at this site were approved by the city of Acworth in July of 2025. Happy Halloween! If this is your first Halloween in Centennial Lakes, here are a few things you might want to know:

Trick or treating happens on the 31st. There are no HOA-orchestrated hours for trick or treating. You'll probably see kids from 5:00 until 9:30 or so.
- We typically have A LOT of traffic from outside the neighborhood, so get plenty of candy to hand out. If you're on one of the busier streets, you may see a couple hundred kids.
- If you and your kids can walk from house to house rather than drive, it'll help with the aforementioned traffic.
- If you park across sidewalks, that forces kids to walk in the already busy street to get around your car. Don't do that.
- Stop by and see us at 704 Bronze Ct!

Average 30-yr mortgage rates have spiked to 7.03%, the highest they've been since January 2025. That has kept inventory high - over 4 months across Cherokee County - continues to drag prices down, about 4.2% YOY on a per sq ft basis. As we head into the typically slower fall and mid-term elections, expect to see days on market continue to climb and prices conitinue to move lower.
