Outpatient Medical Clinic at Center for Change

Center for Change offers an Outpatient Medical Clinic to address the unique needs of people experiencing the medical effects of an eating disorder – either past or present. We provide a welcoming, inclusive environment of support where providers are experts who understand eating disorders and associated complications. Our clinic provides labs, EKG’s, psychiatric evaluations and medical evaluations for eating disorder-related medical concerns for adolescents and adults of all genders. We can also prescribe medication as needed.

Children of military service members from all branches must deal with their parent’s deployments and separations, frequent moves and even the trauma their parents may experience as part of military service. There are more than 1.6 million military children who face these challenges. We acknowledge the impact of military life and are here for the children who may need professional help to improve emotional stability. We specialize in treating adolescents who are struggling with eating disorders and use a trauma-informed approach.

Our beautiful 56,000-square foot eating disorder clinic and living space is found tucked just below the magnificent Wasatch Mountains in Orem, Utah. Situated on private property for maximum privacy, we’ve taken great care to create an atmosphere that is peaceful and tranquil where patients feel welcomed and at home. Levels of care offered include Inpatient, Residential Treatment, Partial Hospitalization, Independent Living, Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient Treatment.

Our conveniently located Salt Lake campus is in Cottonwood Heights, just minutes from the hustle and bustle of the city, but with an air of calm and quiet that contribute to the healing that happens here. This location offers full-day treatment (PHP) and half-day treatment (IOP) five days a week, providing support and guidance to clients who could benefit from additional structure.

Our Boise campus is located in a beautifully restored home in the historic Hyde Park District of Boise’s North End neighborhood. This location offers a day program (PHP) and an intensive outpatient program (IOP) to meet the needs of those who do not require an inpatient setting but need more support and structure beyond traditional outpatient care.
