Meet Peninah Lealo: From a family of 13 children, Peninah's father has died of cancer and her mother cannot afford her tuition. Raised in a part of Kenya that encourages early marriage and genital mutilation, Peninah desires to get a degree in Business and Economics and start a career as a business manager. Meet Remmy Mutiga: An HIV positive orphan, Remmy has faced great stigma, and while in school, lived with teachers and was supported by the Center for Health and Hope during primary and secondary school. Bright, but feeling hopeless about his future, Remmy desires to study Orthopedic and Trauma Medicine. Total cost: $6,200.
