Beginning with the Continental Army’s difficult retreat across New Jersey, discover the extraordinary events of the “Ten Crucial Days,” starting with Washington’s Crossing of the Delaware on Christmas 1776. This was followed by the two Battles of Trenton and concluded with the Battle of Princeton on January 3, 1777. The bravery, sacrifice, and perseverance of the Continental Army through unimaginable hardships resulted in three remarkable victories in just ten days, changing the course of history and paving the way for the birth of our free nation. Our social services team invites you to brighten the winter holidays for older adults who reside in our local affordable housing communities. We are looking for donations of winter outerwear (hats, gloves, scarves for men and women) and gift cards to local businesses for food and/or gifts ($25 gift cards). Monetary gifts will be used to purchase winter items and gift cards as needed. You can sign up using the link below to help us bring holiday cheer and brighten the day of local seniors. Donations may also be dropped off or shipped directly to either of our two locations at the addresses below. The deadline for all donations is December 11, 2024.
