| We just wanted to pass along a great opportunity for Native American High School seniors from The Center for Student Opportunity (CSO). CSO is a partner organization of College Horizons - this summer, representatives from CSO will be in attendance at the College Horizons summer programs.
CSO is a nonprofit organization that helps low-income students and those aspiring to be first in their family to go to college through the college search and selection process. From the CSO Website: Center for Student Opportunity's Opportunity Scholarship is a $2,000, four-year renewable scholarship awarded to first-generation college students graduating in the high school class of 2011 (entering the college class of 2015) enrolling at a CSO College Partner. Scholarship winners may serve as monthly guest bloggers on the Opportunity Scholars web blog to share insight and perspective about their transition to college and successes thereafter. ELIGIBILITY: �Current high school (or home-schooled) seniors attending school in the United States. �Neither parent has earned a four-year college degree. �Must be attending a CSO partner college or university.
