At 3rd Street, our work begins with one simple truth: young people deserve to be valued exactly as they are. Honoring Juneteenth and Pride means creating spaces where Black and LGBTQ+ youth feel not only safe, but seen—because we believe it takes just one meaningful connection to spark the confidence to dream bigger. In a world that too often questions their worth, we provide the resources, relationships, and vital support that help youth stand tall in their identities.

Pride

At 3rd Street, Pride is about more than a month—it’s about showing up for queer and trans youth every day. We’re here to uplift their voices, affirm their identities, and create spaces where they can be fully seen and supported.

Juneteenth

We’re proud to stand with our community in honoring Juneteenth not only as a moment of reflection, but as a continued call for justice, healing, and equity. This month, we celebrated Juneteenth through community, culture, and connection at local events across San Francisco—and we encouraged youth, families, and allies to take part.
