Earlier this month, BPI was invited to speak at the North Carolina Network of Grantmakers Annual Conference where Shamika Munnings, Tyler Sparks, and Dr. Crystal Ellis (pictured above l-r) shared insights on BPI's community report.
ABOUT THE REPORT
In October 2023, BPI released The Intersectionality of Black Life and Being—a collaborative digital report that amplifies local voices and outlines recommendations for building a thriving future for Black students, families, and businesses.
To create this report, we collaborated with Action4Equity and Forsyth Futures to conduct an extensive and innovative community-based research project. The result is a report that beautifully encapsulates and celebrates the essence of Black joy, culture, and identity, bringing the community's voice into a vibrant and interactive tapestry.
