5-Year Anniversary

In only two days, the best center consoles and sportfishing yachts in the world will be on display at the 2024 Viking and Valhalla Boatworks VIP Boat Show. Valhallas from 33 to 55 feet and Vikings from 46 to 90 feet will be on hand at the Viking Yacht Service Center in Riviera Beach, Florida, this Friday and Saturday. The event will be a historical one for VBW, marking the Viking company’s 5-year anniversary. It was at the 2019 VIP that Viking announced it would enter the center console market with the launching of Valhalla Boatworks and the simultaneous introduction of its first three models – the V-33, V-37 and V-41.

The V Series has grown at a tremendous pace since then, solidifying its place as the industry’s leading builder of premium high-performance center consoles with the introduction of the V-46 (above) at the 2021 VIP and the V-55 (below) at last year’s VIP.

VBW has now delivered more than 410 boats and is poised to launch two new models – the V-28 Bay and V-29 Hybrid. The V-28 debuts at the Atlantic City Boat Show, February 28-March 3, while the V-29 premieres at the Palm Beach International Boat Show, March 21-24.

The V-55 demo will certainly be turning heads and dropping jaws. Some of her highlights include an Aristo Blue hull, quad Mercury 600s (with Aristo Blue accent panels), a Palm Beach Towers gap tower with 35-foot Gemlux carbon fiber outriggers, a Seakeeper 9, a host of the latest fishing accessories and mechanical/electrical systems and a custom electronics package from Atlantic Marine Electronics. The V-55 demo has already met with success on the South Florida sailfish tournament circuit, finishing 3rd Place overall and winning Top Live Bait Boat in last week’s Buccaneer Cup Sailfish Tournament.
