Hello,
COVID-19 has been a difficult time for all of us. We have seen the toll it has taken on each other, and especially on our farming community. Together, with Farm Aid and other food and farm organizations from across the region, we are happy to announce the Central Appalachian Family Farm Fund (CAFFF).
If you are a farmer who has been impacted by COVID-19 we encourage you to apply for up to $750 in grant funding. Funding is limited, so priority funding will be given to:
1) Those most impacted by the COVID-19 crisis
2) Those that have been most disadvantaged before the crisis, and/or during the crisis due to race, gender, or another protected class
3) Have the largest proportion of their income derived from the farm production
4) Demonstrate a connection in addressing community food security.
