The April CAWCD Board of Directors meeting will start at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 3. The Public Policy Committee will meet at 9 a.m. Both meetings will be held in Pinal County at the Pinal County Administrative Complex (135 N Pinal St, Florence 85132). Some local cormorants perch on an overchute, a perfect spot for these aquatic birds to watch for a good meal. Overchutes were constructed along the CAP system to transport storm runoff from one side of the aqueduct to the other.
