Our Newest Member

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering
The Annie Armstrong Easter offering was started in 1895 by Woman's Missionary Union® (WMU) to benefit the work of the Home Mission Board (now North American Mission Board). In 1934, it was named in honor of Annie Armstrong, a bold missions advocate and WMU's first national executive leader. Today, more than $2 billion has been donated by Southern Baptist churches and individuals to support thousands of missionaries in church planting and compassion ministries. Because of this sacrificial giving, millions of lives have been and continue to be transformed by the power of the gospel. Giving will be available online at www.cbcamericus.org/online-giving or giving envelopes may be found in the pews.

HopeFull Brunch
The fourth annual HopeFull brunch benefitting Hands of Hope Pregnancy Resource Center will be held on Saturday, April 5th at 10:30 am in the Fellowship hall here at Central Baptist. To purchase tickets, please call the Hands of Hope office at 229-928-2802. Their office hours are Monday & Tuesday from 10am - 5pm and Wednesdays from 10am - 4pm. Tickets are $30 each.

Family Fun Night and Easter Egg Hunt
Our next Family Fun Night is on Wednesday, April 16th. We will serve a meal followed by an Easter egg hunt for kids 5th grade and under. The meal will begin at 6 pm and include ham, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, and vegetables. We ask that everyone bring a dessert to share. After dinner, the Easter egg hunt will occur in the woods beside the church. We need adult volunteers to help hide the eggs for the hunt. If you can assist, please arrive at the church by 5 pm. We have 3,000 eggs to hide!

55+ MEN'S TRIP
On Thursday, May 8th, we have a special trip for men aged 55 and over to Top Golf and a Braves game. The cost is $100, which covers Top Golf, a game ticket, and transportation.
Lunch will be provided at Top Golf, while dinner will be at your expense in The Battery or Stadium.

FAMILY DISCIPLESHIP CLASS
Our next Family Discipleship Class is scheduled for this Sunday, April 6th, at 11:00 am in the Fellowship Hall. We will meet on the first Sunday each month. This class is designed for prospective parents and those parents who have children 5th grade and under. For more information, see Ellis or Elliott Coffee

Child Dedication Service
Our annual Child Dedication Service will be held on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 11th during the Worship Service. If you would like to dedicate your child, please complete the registration form by May 5th.

Graduate Recognition
The Graduate Celebration will be Sunday, May 18th during the morning Worship Service at 9:30 am.
We will have a brunch for the graduates and their families that morning at 8:30 am in the Fellowship Hall.
To prepare for the ceremony, we need information about your graduate. Please complete the form by May 12th.

Columbus Lions Game-
Friday April 18th - Note change in date!
Open to all Central Students!
We are looking forward to an awesome trip to go see the Columbus Lions Arena Football game! We will meet at the church at 5:00 to go to the game that begins at 7:00. The $25 covers your students ticket and transportation. We will plan on eating at the game, so please bring some money for dinner. We are excited to be traveling to Lee University for Student Life Camp this year! Student Life Camp is a Christ-centered camp for 6th-12th graders.
