55+ Monthly Luncheon
What a great luncheon last Thursday for the 55+ group! Magnolia Manor generously provided a cheesecake bar, and a lovely Italian-themed lunch was served! Thanks to Anna Law, Laura Joyner, and Tricia Whitaker for the adorable table decorations! This is the last luncheon for the year. Thanks to all who came and all who served!

Farewell Steven and Brandi!
We said farewell but not goodbye to Steven and Brandi Wright this past Sunday. Steven has accepted a new position with the GA Baptist Mission Board and he will be missed! They will continue to live in Americus, so we will still see them around but we wish all the best to them both in this new capacity of service to God.
Thanks to everyone who came to wish them all the best!

International Week of Prayer

The Week of Prayer for International
Missions is a dedicated time for Southern
Baptists to pray for missionaries serving
through the International Mission Board (IMB) and the communities they
serve.
Please take the time to pick up a prayer guide. You may find one located on the tables around the church.
This also begins our season of giving for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. Between now and our Christmas Eve Service, please consider your gift to international missions.

Operation Christmas Child Trip
To the Atlanta Packing Center
Rodney is coordinating a trip to the Operation Christmas Child Packing Center in Atlanta on Monday, December 15th. Our hours to serve are 2 pm-6 pm. Transportation will be provided; we will leave the church at 9:00 am. We will stop for lunch before serving and eat dinner on the way home. We have limited spots available. If you would like to be a part of this trip, please call the church office at 229-924-4092.

Our annual Pancakes and Caroling is a Christmas Tradition here at Central Baptist!
We will meet at the church at 5:00 pm on Sunday, December 14th, split into groups, receive our assignments and take our voices into the community to share the spirit of Christmas! We visit our shut-ins and let them know they are special while singing their favorite carols! We return to the church and have a hearty pancake dinner!
We would love for you to join us!

We will celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with a candlelight service and observe the Lord’s Supper. Please feel free to bring your family and friends as we enjoy this meaningful service.

Friendship Baptist Association Christmas Musical
An Association-Wide Christmas Musical is planned for Saturday, December 6th @ 6pm here at Central Baptist.
A second performance will be held on Sunday, December 7th at 6pm at Whitewater Baptist Church.
We look forward to this special collaboration of churches in our association.

PARENT DISCIPLESHIP CLASS
Raising the Next Generation
Our next Parent Discipleship Class is scheduled for Sunday, December 7th at 11:00 am in the Fellowship Hall.
This class is for prospective parents and parents of children aged 5th grade and below. We meet once a month and talk about ways to disciple our children and teach them about God's truth. We would be happy to have you join us! For more information, please see Elliott or Ellis Coffee.

Hang Time is for students in grades 6-12! We will meet on the first and third Sunday evenings. Join us for fun and fellowship, and please bring a friend!
