Crazy Days
We have begun a three-week stretch that is unlike any other time in the school year. We start with a three-day week this week, followed by next week's Homecoming Week and capped off by a 3 1/2 day week that leads into Parent/Teacher Conferences. There is a lot of work and a lot of fun packed into these three weeks so please be extra patient with, and extra supportive of, your students. :)

Homecoming Dance Tickets On Sale NOW
Homecoming Dance tickets are available in Mr. Fabrizio's classroom before school, during homeroom and after school through Wednesday, October 18. Tickets can not be purchased at the door. If you are bringing someone from another school, you must get a form from Mr. Fabrizio, fill it out ahead of time and turn it in to Mr. Fabrizio when you purchase your tickets.
PLEASE NOTE: We don’t want to send anyone home from the dance, so make sure you check out Central Catholic’s Dress Code ahead of time.

Homecoming Photo Form
Here is the Homecoming Photo Order Form . Please have your student bring it, with payment to Homecoming. Our photographers will be available for photos from 8:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. on the night of the dance.
Golfers Going To State
Congratulations to our Sectional Champion Girls’ Golf team: Francesca Lee, Katie Steinman, Olivia Campbell, Madison Clark, Kylie Hundman, Faith Glazebrook & Coach Glesing AND to Parker Wisdom & Tommy Nelson who qualified for State in Boys’ Golf! They'll all compete in the IHSA Sate Tournament this weekend. Go Saints!
Schedule Your Parent Teacher Conference Before October 19
Conferences are from noon to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 26 and 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 27. Fifteen minute appointments with each individual teacher are available or you can schedule a thirty minute group conference with all of the teachers together. Conferences will be scheduled through THURSDAY, October 19 and are assigned on a first come, first served basis. Please  e-mail Tece Nussbaum  to schedule. In your email remember to note if you have a day preference and if you want a 30 minute group conference with all teachers or individual conferences.
NOTE:  Students will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. on October 26 and there is no school on October 27.

As you may have noticed, our Student Section (The White Sea) has different themes for different games. To help you with your spiritwear wardrobe, we are selling navy, white and gold t-shirts. One is $10 and a set of all three is $25. Orders are due FRIDAY, October 13 and here is the order form.

Our Student Council is kicking off Homecoming Week on SUNDAY, October 15 by hosting a 2-mile Color Run for Central Catholic Students, Alumni and Partner School Students at Epiphany at 1:00 p.m.The cost is $25; t-shirts are no longer guaranteed, but extras have been ordered. Register here

Notre Dame Glee Cub Performs SUNDAY
The Notre Dame Glee Club performs at 6:30 on SUNDAY, October 15 at St. Patrick Church of Merna.Advance purchase is not necessary. Donations to the Central Catholic and Notre Dame Scholarship Funds will be accepted at the door.

St. Mary's 5K Chili Crusade October 29
The St. Mary's 5K Chili Crusade & Fun Walk is Sunday, October 29 at St. Mary’s, Bloomington
The race benefits St. Mary’s and runs throughout historic Bloomington. Mostly on the Constitution Trail with one loop in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The race will start and end on the trail near St. Mary’s School. 1 Free admission to the 8th Annual Chili Cook Off when you pick up your packet (children 13 and under are free).
