Spring Concert & Talent Show WEDNESDAY!
Our Music Saints are ready to put on a show WEDNESDAY night, October 10. Come out to the Auditorium at 7:00 to catch our talented musicians and singers. Oh, and speaking of talent, be sure to stick around right after the concert for our annual student Talent Show!
PSAT Test WEDNESDAY
TOMORROW, October 10, ALL Juniors and all Sophomores who are in accelerated English take the PSAT. Juniors will be in the cafeteria; sophomores will be in the gym. They will start immediately after morning announcements and finish around 11:30 a.m. then resume their normal class schedule. Students should bring a No. 2 pencil and here is a list of approved calculators for the test. A $16 fee for the PSAT will be billed to your FACTS account.
Blue Ribbon THURSDAY
Today in their Theology classes, your students received their FREE Blue Ribbon t-shirt. We ask them to wear it THURSDAY to help us celebrate our first year as a 2017 National Blue Ribbon School. Everyone who wears their shirt THURSDAY can wear it as part of a FREE Jeans Day. We'll have FREE Blue Slushies, play some fun music during passing periods, and more, so help them dig that shirt out of their backpack and celebrate with us!
LAST CHANCE To Sign Up For Student Heart Checks THURSDAY
You must register your student (the "Student ID" is your student's birthdate) TONIGHT and send this form from our Diocese with your student TOMORROW (Wednesday).

In an effort to reduce sudden cardiac death in young adults in our community, Young Hearts for Life is providing free ECG screenings for Central Catholic High School students on THURSDAY, October 11. Please read this  letter to parents .

Student Thank-A-Thon
Our students see the benefits of financial gifts to our school every day and a thank you from them means a lot to our contributors. Next Wednesday, October 17 from after school until about 8:00 p.m., we want as many students as possible to help us thank our donors. They'll come to the student center and use our phones or their cell phones (with your permission) to call and personally thank everyone who made a financial gift to Central Catholic in the past year. Oh, and there's pizza! Please have your student see Mr. Cook or Mr. Vogel to sign up. And . . . well . . . thank you!
Sign Up For Parent/Teacher Conferences
Conferences are from noon to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 25 and 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 26. Fifteen minute appointments with each individual teacher are available  or  you can schedule a 30-minute group conference with all of the teachers together. Conferences will only be scheduled by e-mailing Tece Nussbaum and only through FRIDAY, October 19. They are assigned on a first come, first served basis.
In your email remember to note if you have a day preference and if you want a 30-minute group conference with all teachers or individual conferences .

NOTE:  Students will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. on October 25 and there is no school on October 26.
Rosary Rally SATURDAY
SATURDAY, October 13, there is a Rosary Rally sponsored by America Needs Fatima. You will gather at 11:45 a.m. across from Holy Trinity Church and and the rally begins at noon (prayer sheets will be provided). America Needs Fatima is sponsoring approximately 23,000 Rosary rallies across America on this date, at noon local time. This is the 101st anniversary of the Miracle of the sun in Fatima, the 6th apparition of Our Blessed Mother.
