@ A Glance
Hey, Where's My Newsletter???
My plan is to not send an @ A Glance next week. This is not meant to minimize the importance of those two days, just a sign that they can be covered in this edition. So read this one as thoroughly as you always do and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

SPIRITWEAR

SIGNS & DECALS
Jeans Day FRIDAY
On FRIDAY, November 16, students who make a $2 donation to our Senior Class Charity, St. Vincent de Paul Society, can wear jeans (no holes), shorts (with at least a 5-inch inseam) or cargo pants; no sweat pants, yoga pants, leggings or jeggings. Tops do not have to be spiritwear or dress code tops, but it's certainly OK to wear those. T-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies are fine, BUT nothing sleeveless and no inappropriate pictures/messages. Gentlemen still need to be clean shaven (unless they are the Seniors participating in No Shave November).
Text Message Alerts
You may have noticed the snow last week. Fortunately (unfortunately?), it wasn't enough to cancel school, but it was a reminder to remind us to be sure you're signed up for text message alerts through the "Remind" program. If you haven't already, please click here and register.
Black Light Dance December 2
Our annual Black Light Dance is SATURDAY, December 2 from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. in our commons. Tickets are $10 and will be on sale during lunch beginning Monday, November 19. The cost includes a plain white t-shirt that can be decorated in black light-friendly colors.
If you are filling your Christmas List with items from Amazon, we ask that you shop through Amazon Smile at  this website . You shop just like you always do, but going through Amazon Smile means that a percentage of your purchase goes to Central Catholic.
It's Enrollment Time and You Can Help
We are already talking to eighth grade families about attending Central Catholic High School next fall. You play one of the most important roles in bringing families to our school and I ask that you always be ready to share your story and encourage families to talk to me. Feel free to share my cell phone number (309-533-2200) and e-mail ( svogel@blmcchs.org ) with anyone you encounter or share their information with me. Thank you in advance for all of your help.
