​The Central Hillsborough County Chamber of Commerce Education Council focuses on addressing educational needs, promoting workforce development, and supporting educational initiatives within the local community. The Council collaborates to enhance educational opportunities, bridge the gap between education and workforce needs, and promote a skilled and competitive workforce. The Council fosters partnerships and collaboration between businesses, educational institutions, government agencies, and community organizations to address educational needs and promote workforce development.

The Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Hillsborough County assists existing and emerging businesses in Hillsborough County, through no-cost confidential business consulting, information, and low-cost training. Whether starting, buying, growing, or selling a business, the Florida SBDC at USF has what entrepreneurs need to grow and succeed. Consultants can assist entrepreneurs in a variety of business areas, including: marketing, business certification, capital access, market diversification, developing strategic business plans, export services, and web optimization.

Wanted: Pianist Accompanist, Keyboardist


Small United Methodist Church in the Riverview Area is looking for a part-time pianist, keyboardist. The position (s) could be split. The pianist will be required to accompany a traditional church choir. This will require a solid musical background. The keyboardist will work with a praise ensemble. May 3 - Pickleball - Impact


The tournament will be divided into BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE, and ADVANCED groups, with teams of WOMEN, MEN, and MIXED DOUBLES. You may choose to play in BOTH. The fee for the 2nd entry is reduced to $40 a person.  MIXED DOUBLES will be played in the afternoon after the MEN and WOMEN division. Best of 3 for championship game.

Your support will go towards our 4-day summer leadership retreat, Cultivate Girls Conference, our 25-26 school year events, and the BLOOM Tea Room (safe space for students). We will also give a scholarship to two seniors! Many of our girls come from a low-income background, and we do not want that to be a barrier for them. Help us build this program. Our school district currently does not have a program that empowers young women, so teachers like me have to start programs to make a difference.
