Odenton, MD. – The Central Maryland Chamber announced today that Monica Lee will serve as the Chamber’s next Director of Membership, effective June 5, 2023.
Monica Lee comes to the Central Maryland Chamber after nearly three years with the National Association of Real Estate Brokers. Lee has worked in member relations, business operations, and employment affairs in her career that has spanned stints in Lanham, MD, Raleigh, NC, Washington, DC and Alexandria, VA.
Monica brings a wealth of knowledge to the Chamber with a background that includes working for several nonprofit associations fulfilling a wide array of areas including Membership, Sponsorship, and Program Development. Monica is a graduate of the University of the Potomac in Washington DC and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a concentration in Marketing & Communications as well as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion certification from the Strayer University, where she also earned her MBA.

Monica is highly active in her community and lends her time to several charity organizations. She enjoys travelling, reading, baking, golfing, and spending time with her family.
The selection of Monica Lee as the Chamber’s next Director of Membership comes after over a two month-long, regional search facilitated by the chamber board and staff, led by Kristi Simon, President & CEO.
