Dear 4-H Family,
April is Month of the Military Child, when we recognize the children of our military and veterans. Read the proclamation from the White House, then mark your calendars for Purple Up! Day on April 15 and show support for military youth by wearing the color purple. This is a visible way to show support and thank military youth for their strength and sacrifices.
Effective March 12, 2022, masks are no longer required for indoor or outdoor 4-H gatherings!
Overnight events and out of state travel are still subject to additional masking guidance and testing requirements. Please see the Basic Safety Guidelines for all in-person activities and the COVID Updates page for details.
Regional Presentation Events
On Saturday, March 26, 4-H members from throughout Central California participated in a Regional Presentation Day event at Argonaut High School in Jackson.

The 4-H Presentation Program supports youth 4-H members (aged 9 to 18) practice and improve their public speaking skills by receiving feedback and an award. Members that score a blue or gold award at their local presentation event are eligible to compete in the regional event.

Virtual presentation events will be offered April 9-23. Presentations are scheduled during 2-hour Zoom sessions. Registration closes at midnight on April 20. More Information
Spring 2022 Tractor Supply: April 27 - May 8, 2022
Spring Tractor Supply Paper Clover is from April 27 - May 8. This year 4-H'ers will be allowed back in the stores. Our partners at Tractor Supply are also doing a credit card match when people use their TSC credit card.
In-person and Virtual Evaluators Needed for State Field Day
This year State Field Day contests need evaluators for both the virtual and in-person contests. You will get an orientation so you can become familiar with the rubrics and process for evaluating presentations, interview participants, and Fashion Revue. Your participation helps our youth grow and improve their skills.

Check out our Volunteer page after March 15 to sign up for time slots to evaluate our 4-H youth and to save the date for the orientation time. More Information
