A Messy Invitation

Did you know that you don't have to be a kid to have fun at church? One of the beautiful things about Messy Church is that people of all ages come together to explore faith with one another. Yes, you can have fun at church too. We would love for you to come have fun with us as a part of our Messy Church community!

In preparation for our next gathering, Messy Church Easter Around the World, we are holding a planning meeting on Tuesday, February 25 at 5:30pm in the Fellowship Hall. Anyone interested in being involved in Messy Church is invited to attend.

No experience necessary.

Contact Paige (paige@centralumcs.org or 864-710-7363) with any questions.

2025 TALENT EXTRAVAGANZA

Central’s annual talent show, which for over 30 years has been a highlight of Wednesday night programs, will be held on February 26 immediately following our regular dinner at 6:30PM.

As always, we welcome anyone who will sing, dance, play an instrument, do stand-up comedy, perform a skit, or recite a special poem.

Please contact Al Jeter (864-585-7308 or A1jeter@charter.net) or Bill Fitch (864-621-5126 or fitch2wbf@yahoo.com) if you would like to participate. Several of our members, choir, family members, or friends can expect to be contacted if volunteers are too shy to sign up.

If you won’t be a performer at this talent extravaganza, please make a reservation for Wednesday night supper and be there to cheer on our talented friends.

Ways to Give to Central

We continue to be deeply grateful for continued support of the mission and ministry of Central Church. There are a few ways to continue to make offerings extremely easy.

  1. The US mail always works. We are at 233 North Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306.
  2. Contact Tammy Eaves to set up a recurring gift through an automatic bank draft.
  3. On the homepage on the church's website there is a "Give" link. Once you set up that app any additional gifts are as easy as one or two clicks.
