Seeking Volunteers, Shoebox Gifts, and Donations for CVCOA's Annual Holiday Dinner and Shoebox Gifts

Many of you know about our annual Christmas Day Hot Turkey Dinner and Shoebox gift deliveries to nearly 300 older Central Vermonters. This community event truly takes a village to pull off! We are looking for more volunteers to wrap shoeboxes, deliver the meals and gifts, help with preparations, cooking, and on-site coordination. To volunteer, visit CVCOA Volunteer Application. Congrats to our Information and Assistance Team for Completing Medicare Part D Enrollment

December 7 marked the completion of CVCOA's annual eight week long enrollment season. As summarized by staff member Megan Thomas to her colleagues,  "...(t)he teamwork demonstrated during this time of year is so inspiring and motivating. You are all the absolute best to work with and make the office a fun (yet still productive) place to be. I’m very lucky to know such a fantastic team and am floored with the wealth of knowledge we have available as well as the number of clients we assist in such a short span of time each year."
