Greetings!

As we approach the end of 2024, I want to extend our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. Your generous donations have made a significant impact on our mission, and we couldn't have achieved our goals without your support.

This year, your contributions have helped us remount two ambulances and add power load and lift systems; purchase five stair chairs, two Lucas CPR devices, three power load systems, Ferno Scoop litters for every ambulance, protective outwear equipment for employees, and security camera systems. Whether it was through financial support, volunteering, or spreading the word, your involvement has been invaluable.

As we look forward to 2025, our 70th Anniversary, I am filled with hope and excitement for the future. I wish you and your loved ones a joyous holiday season and a prosperous New Year. May the coming year bring you happiness, health, and success.

Thank you once again for your unwavering support. Together, we can continue to make a difference.

Warm regards,

Robert F. Mateff Sr.

Chief Executive Officer

A Lifesaver’s Own Rescue: Glenn’s Story

In 2005, at the age of 57, Cetronia Volunteer EMT Glenn Rader was experiencing symptoms of a heart attack while at work for his full-time employer, Nestle Purina. After calling 911, Cetronia Ambulance Corps swiftly responded. Paramedic Miguel Rivera, now a supervisor at Cetronia, provided Glenn with the immediate care he needed and safely transported him to the hospital.

Being an EMT, I never thought about myself being a patient in the back of the ambulance. At 57, you never think it could happen to you. You don’t want it to be true.” – Glenn Rader

Glenn underwent a quadruple bypass and began his journey to recovery. He continued to serve at Cetronia retiring in 2013 after 28 years. His story is a powerful reminder that a medical emergency can happen to anyone, at any time, and in any place.
