Cetronia Chronicle
July 2021 | Issue #13
Greetings!

The summer is heating up and we are excited to host the annual South Whitehall Township Emergency Services Youth Camp along with our emergency services partners from July 12 - 16. This camp is offered free of charge to kids ages 12 to 16. Keep an eye out on our social media channels for pictures from the fun week we have planned.

We are also excited that the region is beginning to have more in-person events. That means we are busier than usual with the standby services we offer to help protect attendees and participants at different events. If you need this type of service, please reach out to us as soon as you know about your event so that we can fully prepare.

Have kids between 2nd and 9th grade that may be interested in learning the game of chess? Have them check out the Chess During COVID-19 Camp taking place the week of July 19. All the proceeds are being donated to us and the Allentown Rescue Mission. Thank you, Anish Pallod, for your kind generosity!

We want to congratulate our good partner, Lehigh Valley Health Network on the opening of their new Hecktown Oaks facility in Easton. We had a sneak peek tour and were very impressed with the number of details that went into planning this gorgeous hospital, cancer and health center.

We'd also like to thank Lehigh Valley Health Network for being the Title Sponsor of our Health On Wheels Cetronia Open Golf Tournament scheduled for September 17. We would love to have you participate. See below for more details!

Stay well,

Join Upper Macungie PD at Lone Lane Park for their annual community-building campaign that promotes Police-Community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live.

Or you can join the South Whitehall PD at Covered Bridge Park. They are hosting a cornhole tournament along with a Billy Joel cover band. They will also have fun activities to participate in!

The deadline to sign up for the cornhole tournament is July 15th. For each registered team, they ask that you please consider making a grocery-sized bag donation to the Parkland CARES Food Pantry. They have requested: boxes of cereal,
pancake mix and syrup, and boxes of individual oatmeal packets.

If you have any questions, please email Officer Jason Grozier at jvg@swtpd.org. Sign up for the tournament here,
