Cetronia Chronicle
March 2022 | Issue #21
Greetings!

It has been nice having a couple warmer days sprinkled in between the cold doldrum of winter. Spring is definitely on the horizon and it will be a welcomed change to see things greening up around the region.

I was honored to testify at a hearing of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee in Harrisburg on March 7. Many of our counterparts from across the state shared the challenges they are faced with daily, from recruitment and retention of personnel, insufficient Medicaid reimbursements and constraints on billing, funding shortfalls, protocols within the emergency rooms at hospital settings, and of course COVID-19 challenges. You can watch the full testimony here: https://youtu.be/ohP9QHOiCIE. My appearance is at the 3:25:00 timestamp.

I invite you to attend our main fundraising event of the year, A Night On Broadway being held on April 29. I look forward to meeting you at our facility on Broadway!

Stay well,

Robert F. Mateff Sr.
Chief Executive Officer

Women's History Month

March is Women's History Month and March 8 was International Women's Day. Cetronia Ambulance Corps is very blessed to have so many amazing women working to achieve its lifesaving mission. In fact, about 50 percent of our workforce are women, which is an amazing statistic.

We're highlighting just one of them here. To read about Sarah, Instructor / EMT, click here.
