Cetronia Chronicle
May 2023 | Issue #35
Greetings!

I hope this message finds you well. It is hard to believe that we are half way through May already.

I want to thank all those that attended our Casino Night on Broadway event that was held at the end of April. The event is our largest fundraiser of the year and without all the community support we received, it would not have been possible. The night was filled with music, raffles, a silent auction, casino games, great food and beverage, and tours of the facility. We can't wait until next year's event and I hope to see you there!

Here's another way to support our non-profit organization. Add one of our items to your cart the next time you're doing some online shopping: Amazon Wish List

As you know, high school graduation is approaching quickly and we're interested in speaking with any seniors that aren't sure what their next step is going to be. We have a Pathways to Success program that will have them getting paid from day one and trained to become an EMT along the way. From there, the sky is the limit in the healthcare industry. It is the perfect stepping stone for a rewarding career. Find out more by reaching out to our director of human resources.

Lastly, I'd like to wish all the moms out there a wonderful Mother's Day on May 14.
Stay well,

Robert F. Mateff Sr.
Chief Executive Officer

EMS Week is May 21 – 27, 2023. This is a time when we celebrate our associates and educate the community on different topics. On Wednesday, May 24 from 4 – 7p.m. we will be having an event for children at our Joint Operating Center located at 4300 Broadway, Allentown. We’ll have tours of our vehicles, Andy the Ambulance, Kona Ice & Cactus Blue food trucks, activities and games, music, and more. The event is free to attend and will be located outdoors. In case of inclement weather, we will be located in our Education Center. Registration is not required. Stop on out and say hi and grab a bite to eat from the food trucks!

There will also be two Family & Friends CPR Classes offered during EMS Week. Both classes are $5 per person and for ages 12 & up. Limited seats are available. Payment is due with registration. Not a certification class.

Thank You!
Thank you to our sponsors and everyone who attended our 2023 Casino Night on Broadway. Without the support of our community, we would not be able to host successful fundraisers that directly support our organization.
