Cetronia Chronicle
September 2022 | Issue #27
Greetings!

I hope this message finds you well. We have been very busy here at Cetronia. School is back in session and our college crew associates have left to return to their academics. We wish them all a great year and we hope to see them back in the near future.

We were very happy to participate in a 9/11 memorial service which was held at the Goodwill Fire Company. Our industry will always hold this date near and dear to us.

Our alumni volunteers held their 2nd annual picnic on September 10 at the beautiful Ontelaunee Park in New Tripoli. There were more than 100 past and present associates in attendance. The comradery was amazing and hearing stories from our past was priceless.

Our Fall EMT class started on September 12. There are 15 students enrolled. I would like to wish all of them a very successful program and I am looking forward to them graduating in January.

I hope to see you at one of our upcoming events. Please be sure to stop and say hello.

Stay well,

Robert F. Mateff Sr.
Chief Executive Officer

Two promotion announcements
We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Mike LaPearl to Director of Education. Mike has been with Cetronia for nearly 20 years, serving 17 of those as one of our operation supervisors. Mike will now be part of the senior leadership team reporting directly to the CEO.

We were also excited to promote Jason Carita to Assistant Director of Operations, a new position. Jay’s primary area of responsibility will be to oversee the Communications Center at the Broadway main station. Jay will report to Eddie Boyle the Director of Operations.

Both team members have proven their ability and willingness to take on new initiatives to advance the organization.

Let’s all congratulate Mike and Jay on their achievements!

Read more about each of them from last year's news articles here: Mike LaPearl and Jason Carita.
Cetronia Ambulance Corps is hosting its first Health On Wheels Family Fest & Pickleball Paddle Battle. The Family Fest is free to attend. The Pickleball Paddle Battle is $35 per player. It will be a round robin-style format, luck of the draw. Prizes will be awarded. Be sure to come in costume!

We'll have music, ambulance tours, trunk-or-treat for the kids, face painting, bake sale, a 50/50, and more!

Do you represent a business that would like to participate? Please reach out to Kim Blichar at 610-530-5511 or blichark@cetronia.org for details on sponsorships or trunk-or-treat opportunities.

Register to play, sponsor the event, or have a trunk-or-treat table, here.
