Good Afternoon Georgia DU Family,
I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Chad Ledford. I am excited to share that I am the new Director of Development for Ducks Unlimited here in the great state of Georgia.
Prior to recently joining the Ducks Unlimited team back here in my home state, I had the incredible honor and privilege over the past year to support DU and our fantastic supporters in the States of Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio.
To share a little about me; my family and I, live little town known as "The Gateway to the Mountains" (Cleveland, GA) where I reside with my wife Katie Rose, and our two young boys Brayden (7), and Brooks (2). Prior to joining the DU family, I had previously worked for Kubota Tractor Corporation for nine (9) years. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with the family, little league sports with my oldest son, and of course, getting out in the field hunting waterfowl and chasing those elusive mountain eastern’ s.
As the next few weeks and months progress, I sincerely look forward to meeting and connecting with each one of you through this new role, and our joint passion for waterfowl and wetlands conservation.
As one of our great past presidents, John Tomke once said, we come to DU for the mission, but we stay for the people. In that spirt, I too believe that it is each of you, who make this organization so great!
I want to thank you for your tremendous support of Ducks Unlimited, and I look forward to seeing each of you very soon.
In the meantime, please feel free to call, text, or email anytime with needs or questions that you may have.
Fill the skies,
Chad Ledford
