PARSHAT KI TAVO

This week’s parashah, Ki Tavo, contains the longest, most frightening stretch of curses in the Torah. They are so terrifying that the custom is for the ba’al koreh to read that section either quietly or very fast…or both.

ROSH HASHANAH IS COMING!

All of our ECC students have begun learning about Rosh Hashanah! They are getting ready to celebrate a wonderful new year!

Morah Rikki's 2nd grade is learning all the Rosh Hashanah symbols and the brachot and they are doing it all in Hebrew!

MIDDLE SCHOOL BONDING TRIP

The Middle School students with Mr. Wolowiec, Rabbi Leib, Rachel and Yael, the Bnot Sherut and Mrs. Mio went to CJ Barrymore for an afternoon of fun bonding, and community building!

First HS Girls Lunch and Learn of the school year! Thank you to Mrs. Erin Stiebel for sharing your Torah with us! And Thank you to Alyssa Skoczylas and Mrs. Mio for helping coordinate the lunch n learn! We look forward to more opportunities to be and learn together!!

Rosh Hashanah Honey Fundraiser

Our first fundraiser of the school year is up and running! We are selling delicious honey for Rosh Hashanah, which is being locally sourced from Joel K. Letvin and the Oakland County Apiaries. Perfect for yourself or as a gift. Each 8oz jar of honey is $18 and all proceeds go to support PTO programming. This is a great opportunity to support the PTO! You can order HERE.

The PTO is always looking for volunteers to help out throughout the year. Whether you have a lot of time, or a little bit of time, volunteering with the PTO is an amazing way to meet people and feel connected to the Farber community.
