A MESSAGE FROM OUR CNT PRESIDENT

As we begin to reach the coldest season the activities at Congregation Ner Tamid are just heating up!

Join us on 01/24 for a Community Outreach event working with Bagel Rescue!

The next day on 01/25 our Sanctuary will be filled with visiting families from all over Cobb and Paulding County participating in a PJ Library Event.

One week later we have a Torah Study Event on Saturday 01/31 10:00am.

The following weekend we celebrate our annual Scout Shabbat on 02/06 followed by Kids Movie night on 02/07 where the youth are going old school watching "Back to the Future!"

We have an active schedule with chances for everyone to participate!

One of our favorite community service organizations comes to CNT again to provide us with the opportunity to help others! Bagel Rescue collects unsold bagels from bakeries, packages them, and then takes them to communities in need. This is a fun activity that takes place in CNT! Please RSVP to membership@mynertamid.org if you are interested in packing with us.

PJ Library at CNT!

Saturday, January 25 at 10:30 am

Let’s celebrate the birthday of the trees with color, creativity, and a little bit of dirt! Kids are invited to paint their very own flower pots and plant seeds inside to take home and grow. It’s a joyful way to honor Tu B’Shevat while learning about nature, growth, and caring for our planet — one painted pot at a time.

This hands-on event is perfect for young artists. Come ready to get a little messy, make something beautiful, and grow something meaningful! Registration is required, please click here.

Torah Study

Saturday, January 31 at 10:00 am

Come join us for a lively discussion of the weekly Torah portion led by Rabbi Prass. We will also have a light nosh. Come join us for community and study. All are welcome!

Scout Shabbat

Friday, February 6

Please join us for CNT's annual Scout Shabbat, celebrating Scouts from our congregation and surrounding areas! Invite any Scouts you know who would like to participate. And...we are once again offering the mini challah bread braiding instructional!

Register by Sunday, February 1 to rsvp@mynertamid.org with the name of the Scout, and whether Boy or Girl Scout (as there are different patches for each) to ensure you will get a patch, and whether your Scout(s) will be participating in the challah instructional.

Class A uniform is encouraged. After services there will be a Scout-themed oneg.

Youth Group Movie Night

Saturday, February 7 at 6:00 pm

Youngsters are invited to watch BACK TO THE FUTURE! Popcorn will be provided, but feel free to bring a snack to share! Please RSVP to rsvp@mynertamid.org.
