A MESSAGE FROM OUR CNT PRESIDENT

To the Tune of The Sound of Music's "These are a few of my favorite things":

Matzah so crunchy and charoset so sweet,

Bitter herbs tasting of struggles we meet,

Four cups of wine that make everyone sing—

These are a few of my favorite Passover things.

Next week marks the beginning of one of my favorite holidays that centers around the traditions that have been going on from generation to generation (L'dor Vador).

I love celebrating Passover with my children knowing that the Seder service, the foods and the prayers were celebrated much the same by my relatives 200 years ago or 2,000 years ago!

We welcome the Community to join us for our Passover Seder next week and we look forward to our Religious School Students having a Passover Seder this Sunday as well.

If you have a great and unique charoset recipe, please do share!

With a focus on community,

Matt Berenson

President, Congregation Ner Tamid

We invite you to join us for Shabbat Services

Friday evenings at 7:30 pm.

NEW MEMBER SPOTLIGHT

Lindsey, Shane, and Tessa Seider

We welcome the Seider family to Congregation Ner Tamid! Lindsey and Shane Seider live in Dallas and are the proud parents of Tessa, who celebrates her first birthday in early April!  They also have two cats, Cheddar and Leapah.

Lindsey was born in Atlanta and raised in Loganville. She works at Cobb and Douglas Public Health as a Dietitian and Lactation Counselor.

Shane moved to Roswell, GA when he was 3 years old from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Shane is a CAD engineer and works with Geosyntec Consultants.

One interesting fact about them is they are a day apart in age with consecutive birthdays in early December!

Asked why they chose to join CNT, Lindsey shared “because everyone has been so welcoming and it felt comfortable and familiar!”

We are delighted to have the Seider family as part of the Congregation Ner Tamid family and community!

Please consider sponsoring or contributing to an oneg. Contact the Ritual committee at ritual@mynertamid.org.
