DIY LEGO MENORAH NIGHT!

Saturday, December 21 at 5:00 pm

Channel your inner kid and join us for a DIY Lego Menorah! The cost is $20 per menorah, and we will have designs for small bricks and large bricks (for younger builders). Please let us know if you'll be building with us by Sunday, December 1, at membership@mynertamid.org.

HANUKKAH IS OUR JAM!

And not just in sufganiyot! We are looking for helpers for our two major Hanukkah events: DIY Menorah on December 21, and our community Menorah Lighting in Marietta Square on December 28. Both of these are very popular, and we would love your help in planning! If you are interested in getting involved in these two very fun events, please send an email to membership@mynertamid.org.

SNAPSHOTS IN THE CNT COMMUNITY

For Simchat Torah, Rabbi Prass unrolled two of our Torahs across the tables, giving us the opportunity to explore their beauty up close. Afterward we welcomed our newest religious school students in a Consecration ceremony.

Recently the CNT Sisterhood got together at Mac's Raw Bar for a scrumptious meal, great company, and altogether a fun time! More Sisterhood events are in the pipeline, stay tuned!

Our High Holidays food barrel collection did not disappoint! Our generous community brought in approximately 550 lbs of food for Jewish Family and Career services. JF&CS was very impressed with the volume of food donated for a congregation our size!

Thank you to everyone who made food contributions!

JEWISH FAMILY & CAREER SERVICES (JF&CS) OF ATLANTA

Community of Giving: A Virtual Gathering

Tuesday, December 23

Noon - 1 PM | Encore 8-9 PM, Virtual

Community of Giving is a fundraising event hosted virtually by Jewish Family & Career Services on Giving Tuesday. Guests can join from their own homes or attend in-person hosted watch parties.

This year, the focus of Community of Giving is Israel and the impact of October 7 on our community here in Atlanta through personal client experiences and insights from leadership. We will share stories from clients receiving mental health support, college students facing antisemitism on campus who are supported by our clinicians, and Holocaust survivors who have been retraumatized after the attack. JF&CS is the first to respond when the need for mental health arises in our community and that will be highlighted during the program.
