The evening begins with preneg at 6:00 pm (pizza and veggies!) and then continues with a Family Service at 6:30 pm with a special Consecration blessing to honor our new and youngest religious school students. The 6th/7th grades will join Rabbi Bearman on the bimah and lead the congregation in song, story and worship followed by a birthday celebration and Oneg with a certified nut-free option at the dessert table. If you will be attending the Preneg, please RSVP .
Holiday Toy Drive Starts Friday!
 
Please support Sophie Barenberg's Bat Mitzvah mitzvah project
by donating a toy or game to benefit the Yale New Haven Children's Hospital Toy Closet.
 
Toys must be new, unopened and not gift wrapped.

TBC Hanukkah + Library Magic

This December, TBC is partnering with our local libraries to spread some Hanukkah magic!  We hope that you'll join us for one or more of our programs. Remember to register with the library (if required) and bring your friends!

December 10 at 4 pm Rabbi Bearman visits Wilton Library for their Hanukkah Hoopla program! **Click HERE to register!**

December 11 at 1:30 pm Rabbi Bearman celebrates A Hint of Hanukkah at the Mark Twain Library! **Click HERE to register!**

December 17 at 4 pm Rabbi Bearman and Director of Lifelong Learning Karin Beitel invite the community to join them at Wilton Library for Dreidel Days, an interactive Hanukkah program where people of all ages will learn, play, and celebrate the Hanukkah season!

Sisterhood Hanukkah
Judaica Shop

Choose from a wonderful selection of Judaica items, jewelry, and toys presented by Sisterhood at our pop-up Judaica Shop on Sunday, December 15th, at the synagogue during Sunday school hours. All profits go to support the programs Sisterhood provides for the school, the synagogue, and its own special events.

Student Cantor Hamstra will be with us for some Friday night Shabbat services this year. Please click HERE to check the schedule if you would like to host her for dinner at your house on one of the Saturday evenings that she is with us.
TBC Diaper Collection Project!

The TBC Social Action Committee is seeking donations of diapers and wipes to benefit the Community Action Agency of Western Connecticut and the Domestic Violence Crisis Center, Stamford, and Person-to-Person, Norwalk.  For most parents, diapers for babies is a given.  If you are living in poverty, however, they are often a luxury.

It is traditional to light a memorial candle on the eve of the yahrzeit at home and to recite Kaddish when lighting the yahrzeit candle. It is also a custom to make donations in memory of loved ones around the time.
