Thank you to everyone who attended this past Friday's wonderful, first annual L'taken Shabbat. It was fantastic to hear directly from our students as they shared their perspectives on issues that they are so passionate about!

Below, you'll find links to the speeches that our students made in the offices of Senator Murphy, Senator Blumenthal, and Representative Himes. We hope that you'll take a few minutes and read their passionate, articulate arguments!

And to our students- we hope that you will go from strength to strength and L'taken to L'taken!

Yahrzeit Memorial Plaques at TBC

As the secular year begins, we know that many of us are thinking of loved ones who have passed away, and we invite you to use this moment of transition, of remembering and looking forward, to commemorate the lives and blessings of your loved ones with a memorial plaque. Please see this announcement from Rabbi Bearman and President Baulsir for more information .

Additionally, we would like to invite the entire community to a SPECIAL SERVICE OF DEDICATION on MAY 15, 2020. If you have any questions, please call TBC's main office (203-544-8695). We would be happy to help you in any way that we can.
Make your voice heard in Israel!  Cast your vote for the Reform ticket in the election for the 38th World Zionist Congress.  All Jews age 18 and above are eligible to vote January 21-March 11. It's the one way Diaspora Jews can participate in Israeli democracy and one of the best (and easiest) ways to support progressive Judaism in the Jewish state.  If you Vote Reform, your vote supports funding for HUC-JIR Jerusalem, the Israel Religious Action Center, Reform synagogues throughout Israel, and more.  To learn more about Vote Reform and our movement's platform, take a look  here , and to cast your vote, click  here !

URJ Northeast Camps, TBC Scholarships!

Every summer, thousands of Reform Jewish children and teeangers spend their summers immersed in the wonderful, inspirational, and tremendously fun environments of URJ (Union for Reform Judaism) camps. As campers are rock climbing, painting, dancing, or singing their hearts out, they are doing it all through a Jewish lens.

TBC has always done all that we can to help send our students to URJ camps, and this year, thanks to a generous donation, we're able to do even more!

We are thrilled to announce that a member family has chosen to support other TBC families' ability to send their children to URJ camps by providing funding for  need-based scholarships to Reform Movement summer camps.

If your family would like to be considered for a need-based scholarship to a URJ camp, please reach out to Rabbi Bearman. She'll schedule a conversation with your family where you can talk about how TBC can best help your child attend camp next summer.

It may be cold outside, but summer is just around the corner! Don't miss this opportunity!
