The Daily Bread Food Pantry is an ecumenical food pantry servicing the Greater Danbury community. Its mission is to help those in need of food, whatever their circumstances, and maintain the dignity of clients in a compassionate and caring atmosphere.
The Daily Bread Food Pantry is located in the rear building at St. James' Episcopal Church, Danbury.

The Jewish tradition teaches us that we should offer a blessing of gratitude every time we see a rainbow. In this spirit, on Friday, June 28, we will come together for our annual Pride Shabbat where we will celebrate the beautiful rainbow of human experience and honor the movement for LGBTQ equality.
 
Pride Torah Study -  Saturday, June 29 at 9:30 am
Join Rabbi Bearman for this special Torah Study. We will explore LGBTQ themes in our weekly Torah as well as other texts of our movement tracing the journey the movement has taken to embrace, support, and celebrate the LGBTQ community, and discuss where we hope to see more progress in the future.

It's easy to order - just fill out the Tree of Life order form. Each leaf costs $300 and will be engraved upon receipt of the completed order form and full payment. It is traditional to light a memorial candle on the eve of the yahrzeit at home and to recite 
Kaddish when lighting the yahrzeit candle. It is also a custom to make donations in memory of loved ones around the time.
