Introduce Yourself: Susan Lava
Hi, I’m Susan Lava, a New York transplant. I was a studious kid, a good girl, kind of a square. We weren’t particularly religious but kept Kosher. A funny memory was Sunday dinners at a Chinese restaurant. We would never dream of eating pork products but for some reason, we ate lobster Cantonese. We weren’t the only ones. We’d see plenty of Jewish families ordering it too.
