Introduce Yourself: Annette Marks
What's Your Story?
Hello, my name is Annette Marks. I was born in New Jersey and grew up orthodox. My best friend, Faigie, lived in the city and we lived at the shore, so she spent summers with us. She wouldn't let me go to sleep unless we first said the Shema. Now all these years later, I still say the Shema before bed. It's part of who I am.

Thank You ChaiVillageLA Board
On behalf of all members of ChaiVillageLA, thank you to the 2018/19 Board for all of your hard work. We send special kudos to outgoing board members: Chair Terry Pullan plus Vice Chairs Susan Levine and Andrea Pullan, Special Events Chair Barbara Joyner and Members-at-Large Dale Joyner and Jessica Dabney. In next week's newsletter incoming Chair Pete Siegel will introduce our new Board.
