ChaiVillageLA Program Co-Chairs Lorna Belman and Barbara Meltzer invite you to share your ideas and expertise so that we can expand our Village programs. Our goals include:
• Enriching our Village programming so that we can take advantage of all that our city and community have to offer
• Suggesting outings to museums, concerts, restaurants, parks and architectural sites
• Planning game nights, knitting circles, lectures and classes

What's Your Story?
Hi, my name is Victor Gold. I am an L.A. native, graduating from Fairfax High in 1968. I got my BA, JD, and wife from UCLA (Go Bruins!). Kim and I met at a Christmas tree trimming party where everyone in attendance was Jewish.

New Membership Brochure
The ChaiVillageLA Story
Under the direction of ChaiVillageLA Chair Susan Levine, a wonderful new brochure has been created to tell the story of our Village. In fact, it's really two brochures--one directed to members of Temple Emanuel and the other for members of Temple Isaiah. If you'd like to give a temple friend one of our new brochures, just contact the office.

Our volunteers helped Rabbi Laura Geller get ready for Sukkot! A big thanks to Barbara & Dale Joyner, Andrea & Terry Pullan, Sierra Holtz and Devorah Servi for creating this beautiful dwelling!

Tour of the Ballona Wetlands
Take a stroll through the last coastal wetland within the city limits of Los Angeles. We will view a variety of habitats, and be on the lookout for birds, wildflowers and butterflies.

The Headlines and the Law

From immigration to Supreme Court appointments to the Mueller investigation, knowledge of legal issues helps our understanding of current events. Victor Gold, Professor of Law and Dean Emeritus at Loyola Law School, will discuss many of these issues and take our questions.
