Dear ChaiVillageLA Members,
We want to make you aware of some ChaiVillageLA restructuring. Some of our leaders are stepping back from the day to day management so that others may step up. Creating a pipeline of new leadership is vital for ChaiVillageLA to be healthy and strong long into the future. Specifically, Andrea Pullan and Susan Levine will be stepping off of the Executive Committee, and instead will continue on the Steering Committee as members-at-large. Terry Pullan will continue as Chair of the Village, and Rabbi Laura Geller and Rabbi Zoe Klein Miles will take on supervision of our Executive Director.
Meanwhile, Pete Siegel is heading up a Governance Task Force to review and make recommendations regarding the future structure of the Village. The task force has met, and has a goal of making recommendations to the Steering Committee by next spring.
THANK YOU ANDREA PULLAN AND SUSAN LEVINE

Introduce Yourself: Michael Hirschfeld
Hi, my name is Michael Hirschfeld.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles. My folks came here from Nebraska after the war & my father was an old-fashioned country doctor in the sleepy town of Santa Monica. I attended public schools and the family was associated with Beth Shalom Temple.
