Meet our Intern
Introducing Elli Rao
With my passion for working with older adults, I am excited to join ChaiVillageLA as an intern while pursuing a dual masters in Jewish Nonprofit Management and Social Work. I grew up in Tulsa, OK and have interned as a case manager at JFS.
I enjoy reading, trying new restaurants, and playing with my cat, Stella.
Introduce Yourself: Mark Lipschutz
What's Your Story?
Hello, I'm Mark Lipschutz. My grandparents came from Russia and Lithuania and settled in Wisconsin. I grew up in Manitowoc, north of Milwaukee. My dad was a dentist; my mom had been a lab technician at Wisconsin General Hospital but stopped working when she got married, as was customary.

Our Village On the Go
We gathered to learn about the experiences of transgender people from Dr. Mark Katz and his amazing guest speakers. Thanks to Renee Cronenwalt for inviting her dear friend, Dr. Katz.
