"It Takes a ChaiVillageLA to Create a Community"
“I just knew this was exactly what we were looking for,” said Ira... “We immediately joined, and within 30 to 60 days, all the problems we had in searching for community and feeling a little bit lost had all disappeared.”

The Headlines and the Law
Last Friday, 80 members of ChaiVillageLA and guests gathered after Temple Isaiah's Friday night Shabbat service to hear Victor Gold, Professor of Law and Dean Emeritus of Loyola Law School, provide a fascinating legal interpretation of today's headlines. If you missed this lecture, don't worry--there are 3 more sessions and you are welcome to attend as many as you'd like.

All lectures will take place at Temple Isaiah

826LA
Villagers recently had a wonderful time working with a class of 6th graders. The students' imaginations, as well as the incredible organizational and leadership abilities of Mike and 826LA's staff, created an amazing experience for everyone. If you have already gone through the orientation process, make sure to sign up for the next volunteering opportunity. Contact Janet Noah at [email protected] for any questions.

Introduce Yourself: Madeline Wolf
What's Your Story?
Hi, my name is Madeline Wolf, born in Detroit. We relocated to Los Angeles when I was just one-year old. Some highlights: I was voted friendliest in my freshmen class at Beverly Hills High. I met and married Ken Wolf after a whirlwind romance and we have amazing, accomplished children and grand-children. I have a doctorate in clinical psychology. I love art and travel, and we are wild sports fans.
