"After Coronavirus: A Boomer Game Plan"
Words of Wisdom from Rabbi Geller
As Rabbi Laura Geller and Stuart Himmelfarb say in eJewish Philanthropy, "Everything is affected by this pandemic and life is changing around us; everyone is affected -- including the 'active older adult' population."

Coping
Grateful: Dorothy Salkin
I hope you are all staying well, staying safe and staying in. I am coping by being grateful for many things that I have taken for granted every day. Perhaps this will be helpful to other members of the Village.

Our Coping column has been so helpful (thanks to Editor Idelle Davidson and contributors) that a lovely submission by Barbara Meltzer appeared in the West Hollywood newspaper. Click to read.
How are you coping? How are you keeping your spirits up? Please send your thoughts to  IdelleDavidson@gmail.com.
Introduce Yourself: Laurie Gantz
What's Your Story?
Hi, I'm Laurie Gantz. I met my husband, David Gantz, when we were 15. He was the funniest, smartest, cutest, and most mature guy I ever saw. Lucky for me, his parents gave him a used Corvair when he turned 16. So he was able to drive to Downey most weekends and take me out on dates! At age 20, we got married.

Farewell to Elli Rao
We'll Miss You Elli!
All good things must come to an end, and the same is true of my internship at ChaiVillageLA. While I'm excited to be finishing graduate school, I am sad to say goodbye. I've had the privilege to work closely with many of you, and you have all truly inspired me with your passion for your community and joie de vivre. I think of aging so differently now, and it's because of all of you. Thank you for welcoming me so warmly. - Elli

If you still have the ability to support our campaign, and you haven't already done so, please click on the link for donation information.
