New Director of Lifelong Learning at TBC !

We are excited to share some wonderful news with you about TBC's search for a new Director of Lifelong Learning. Karin Beitel, who has been leading the school for months as our interim educator, has now been selected to be our Director of Lifelong Learning on an ongoing basis.

Karin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Religious Studies from the University of Rochester and a Masters Degree from Hebrew Union College. Karin has decades of experience as a Director in Reform Jewish Education, most recently as the Director of Education at Temple Israel of Westport.  She has a passion for Judaism and has developed a strong commitment to TBC in the months that she has been with us. Karin has earned the respect of our rabbi, lay leaders, teachers, parents and students and has an outstanding reputation in the greater Jewish community of Fairfield County and beyond.

Please join us in welcoming Karin in her new role as the Director of Lifelong Learning and as a member of our TBC Community.
Volunteers Still Needed for Young Cystic Fibrosis Patients -
Driving and Dinner Meals!

From Jane Alexander: Wi-ACT is in search of volunteers to do the driving from Wilton to Stamford and/or to provide dinners for young Cystic Fibrosis patients from abroad. These patients, typically in their teens but as young as five years old, are treated pro bono for three weeks at Wi-ACT Steering Committee Member Dr. Hossein Sadeghi's pulmonology clinic in Stamford. The results of this treatment are truly lifegiving: if these children do not receive this treatment, they will likely die within several years (or even less). If you would like to volunteer, please email Wi-ACT Steering Committee Member Linda Rost at lrost0411@gmail.com.  Thank you, Jane.

Cantor Anesi will be with us for all of our remaining Spring B'nai Mitzvahs. Here are all of the dates Cantor Anesi will be at TBC: Shabbats: May 25, June 8, June 15.  Saturday mornings: June 9, June 15.
