TBC Wish List

Another new feature of Chailites, the TBC Wish List will include items we need at TBC and for which we are trying to raise funds.

This month, we are focusing on the equipment we need to purchase to enable us to live stream and Zoom from the sanctuary for both Shabbat and the High Holidays. Going forward we will also be able to use the equipment for special events, as well as the Religious School.

To make a contribution to help us purchase this equipment, please click here

Thank you for your support!
In Our Community ...
  • Welcome to our new TBC member, Beverly Peterman!

  • Mazel Tov to Sharon and Ken Sobel on the birth of their granddaughter, Ione Elena Nellis. Ione was 7 pounds, 12 ounces and 20 inches -- and born one day shy of her parents' fifth anniversary!
If you have TBC community news you'd like to share, please send the information to chailites@templebnaichaim.org!

We Want You! (Your Photo, That Is)

As we prepare for the High Holidays, we want to include photographs of our congregants in our service to help us all feel connected to one another. Please send a photo (jpg format) of you and your family to President@templebnaichaim.org by August 25 to be included. The photos do not have to be at TBC.
This Week's Torah Portion - Shoftim
(Deuteronomy 16:18-21:9)

Shoftim discusses one of the most important areas of ethics of the Israelite people - pursuing justice. The text teaches us not only to appoint judges and leaders over the people, but that these individuals need to observe justice above everything else: "tzedek tirdof - Justice, Justice, shall you pursue."  To learn more Click Here.
